"Family First" is a fresh and lively comedy about how Finns enjoy spending time at their summer cottage—even if they have to force themselves to do so. The mother of the family, Helena (Annu Valonen), has her hands full trying to get her adult children to behave long enough for the garden magazine reporter she invited over to take some presentable photos—now that the peonies are in bloom and the new composting outhouse has arrived. However, things start to go off the rails even before the cooler has been carried into the living room. The hugely popular Suvi Teräsniska will perform with her band at the Riihivuori Theater in Muurame on August 8! Suvi Teräsniska has released fourteen full-length albums during her career. Her latest album, *Iltalauluja II*, was released in November 2025. Suvi’s biggest hits include “Hento kuiskaus,” “Täydellinen elämä,” “Jos menet pois,” “Pahalta piilossa,” “Elämäni miehiä,” and “Seuraavassa elämässä.” Suvi Teräsniska’s albums have sold a total of half a million copies, and nearly every one of them has gone platinum. Beloved by her audience, Suvi has received awards including the 2017 Emma Gala award for Pop Album of the Year and the 2021 award for Children’s Music of the Year, the 2016 Iskelmä-Finlandia award, and the 2013 Kullervo Linna Foundation award. Ismo Alanko and his band will be performing at the Riihivuori Theater in Muurame on Friday, August 21! Alanko, who has been shaping the Finnish soulscape with his music for four decades, released his latest album, *Kevyt ja kohtuuton*, earlier this year. Alanko will be accompanied by the band El Mosquito, which has been performing with him for 13 years.Introduction – Ismo Alanko Ismo Alanko Ismo Alanko is a Finnish singer-songwriter and musician who rose to fame in the 1980s as the frontman of the band Hassisen Kone. The band’s songs, such as “Rappiolla” and “Levottomat jalat,” quickly became classics of Finnish rock. After Hassisen Kone, Alanko continued his career with the band Sielun Veljet, whose music blended rock, punk, and more experimental elements. Since the 1990s, Alanko has pursued an extensive solo career and released numerous albums with various ensembles. His projects have included, among others, the Ismo Alanko Foundation and Ismo Alanko Teholla. Well-known songs from throughout his career include “Taiteilijaelämää” and “Kun Suomi putos puusta.” Alanko is known for his distinctive style, which blends rock, alternative music, and the strong Finnish tradition of songwriting. Throughout his long career, Ismo Alanko has released numerous albums and received several accolades, including Emma Awards.
